Fred Baser is a graduate of Colgate University who has been working in the financial services industry since 1987. Fred and his wife, Marian, founded Bristol Financial Services in 1990. Fred has been a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) for over 10 years. Fred has lived in Bristol, Vermont for over 37 years and has been active in the community since moving here. In the past, Fred has served on The Bristol Selectboard, Porter Hospital Board, Hannaford Career Center School board, and the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity Board, and he is currently active as a United Way volunteer, Chair of Bristol’s Revolving Loan Fund Committee, and as a Justice of the Peace. In November, 2014, Fred was elected to the Vermont State House of Representatives, representing the Bristol, Lincoln, Monkton and Starksboro communities.
