Dental and Vision Plans

If you have been to the dentist lately, you will know why this is an important benefit to offer as a complement to your healthcare coverage.

Dental plans generally cover the cost of preventative care such as, oral exams, cleanings and x-rays and a portion of the cost of fillings. Some plans cover a portion of the cost of minor and major work such as crowns, root canals and restorative work and a few offer orthodontic benefits. Like health insurance, a dental plan may have a co-pay, annual deductibles and annual limits.

Although few employers cover the full cost of dental insurance premiums for an individual or family, there are ways to make it more affordable. If an employer offers a cafeteria plan you can set aside a portion of your paycheck to pay for premiums, co-pays and deductibles.

We work with many providers such as, Delta Dental, The Standard and Symetra, to provide options and rates that work best for you.

Vision insurance plans continue to grow in popularity. A typical plan includes an annual routine eye exam, an annual contribution or discount towards prescription eyewear and a glaucoma screening.
